Industrial Heat: E-cat Does Not Work

Industrial Heat is now claiming that Ecat does not work. In a press release responding to Andrea Rossi’s lawsuit, the license for the inventor’s low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) technology did not produce the results claimed.

“Industrial Heat has worked for over three years to substantiate the results claimed by Mr. Rossi from the Ecat technology – all without success,” the release posted at PR Newswire claims. The company owned by Tom Darden’s Cherokee Partners also claims that Rossi breached its contracts.

The Ecat Report is Here!!

A report of the results of independent testing on Andrea Rossi’s e-cat low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) device is now available. Unfortunately the report is currently only available to Rossi and Industrial Heat which means that company’s owner Tom Darden undoubtedly has a copy.

This is is the latest artist's conception of Rossi's one megawatt ecat. unit.

There is no word on when the report will be made public but Rossi apparently received a copy on March 29 which was Tuesday. The inventor did say was in the report but he did make this post at his blog:

New E-Cat Company Launched in UK has AmpEnergo Connection

An  Industrial Heat subsidiary based in the United Kingdom has a connection to Ampenergo, a defunct company set up to license Andrea Rossi’s e-cat low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) technology in America a few years ago.

Documents filed with Her Majesty’s Government’s agency for registering corporations Companies House, on May 9, 2015, created a private company called IH Holdings International Holdings Inc. The IH apparently stands for Industrial Heat – the company Cherokee Partners Chief Executive Officer Tom Darden set up to license Andrea Rossi’s e-cat technology last year.

Rossi Admits e-Cat Not Yet Capable of Making Electricity

Andrea Rossi has made an interesting admission about his ecat low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) technology on his blog. The inventor revealed that he and his team have attempted to produce electricity with their device but admitted they have failed to do so.

In a reply to a poster simply called John on February 20, 2015, Rossi stated:

“I confirm that in our work of R&D (Research and Development) we have also made experiments related to the production of electric power. I cannot give information of our R&D work, until we produce something really working in a satisfactory mode.”

E-cat Replication Attempt Ends in Explosion

“Project Dog Bone” the Martin Fleischmann Memorial Project’s attempt to replicate Andrea Rossi’s e-cat low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) technology has apparently been rocked by an explosion.

This is the reactor vaporized in a recent explosion at Project Dog Bone.

The Project’s reactor apparently exploded after reaching a temperature of 1,027 degrees Celsius, (1,880.6 degrees Fahrenheit for Americans) on Thursday Feb. 5, Wired UK reported. Interestingly enough the explosion was capture live on web cam and broadcast over the Project’s YouTube feed as Swagelok based reactor leak test. The explosion occurred three hours and 47 minutes into the test.

McKubre Convinced by Lugano and Moscow Ecat Experiments

One of the world’s most experienced experts on cold fusion or low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) has reviewed the Lugano Test of Andrea Rossi’s ecat LENR device and Russian scientist Alexander Parkhomov’s attempt to replicate it.   Dr. Michael C.H. McKubre who has reviewed and participated in many LENR experiments is convinced that both experiments achieved nuclear reactions and generated excess heat.

McKubre did not directly participate in the experiments but he did examine the reports that Parkhomov and a team of scientists made on the experiments. From these McKubre is convinced that both experiments produced valid research.

Piantelli now Working with Fleischman Project

One of cold fusion’s true pioneers Francesco Piantelli is now working with the Martin Fleischman Memorial Project in an effort called Project Fedora.

Francessco Piantelli and Mathieu Valat in Sienna last month.

For those of you unfamiliar with him, Piantelli is the Italian scientist who worked with the late Sergio Focardi on low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) experiments in the 1990s. Those experiments formed the basis of Andrea Rossi’s e-cat LENR technology.

The Fleischman Project is hoping to replicate Piantelli’s hydrogen-nickel LENR device. An Italian company called NicHEnergy has been working to commercialize Piantelli’s cold fusion technology since 2012.

Russian Physicist Claims to Have Replicated Rossi’s Hot Ecat

A Russian physicist named Alexander G. Parkhomov had a very nasty Christmas surprise for Andrea Rossi this year. On December 25, Parkhomov published a report in which he claims to have replicated Andrea Rossi’s hot e-cat low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) technology.

Alexander G. Parkhomov

It’s hard to judge the validity of this because the report is published in Russian. The E-cat world website site claims that Parkhomov used the data about ecat contained in the report of the Lugano e-cat test earlier this year. Parkhomov built a closed metal vessel that apparently uses a nickel hydrogen reaction similar to Rossi’s to heat water to the point of vaporization. It that’s true it means the device could operate a steam engine or turbine.

Bill Gates’ Energy Miracles

Strangely enough one of the best resources about energy issues on the web today is Bill Gates’s personal blog Gates Notes. The world’s richest man appears to one of the few deep thinkers who is doing some deep thinking about energy unlike our political leaders.

The blog itself explains Mr. Gates’ reputed interest in low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) or cold fusion and in nuclear power in general. Gates believes that development of an effective and practical nuclear energy source that is commercially viable is critical to our future and he’s right. He compares the energy situation to vaccination which frees humanity from the scourge of many deadly diseases – if we choose to use it.

Bill Gates is Interested in LENR

The world’s richest man Microsoft founder turned philanthropist Bill Gates has publicly demonstrated in his interest in low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) or cold fusion.

Gates visited the Italian Agency for New Technologies or ENEA’s laboratories in Frascati, Italy, to investigate LENR research on Nov. 17, 2014, a press release from the University of Verona’s news service indicates.
