Professors, Cornell University Publish Report Vindicating Rossi and “Hot Ecat”

The long awaited and much anticipated scientific paper confirming some of the claims that Andrea Rossi has made about his ecat low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) device has been published through Cornell University Library’s webpage.

The paper which is titled: Indication of anomalous heat energy production in a reactor device containing hydrogen loaded nickel powder can be found in PDF format here. It was apparently written by Evelyn Foschi of Bologna with input from Rossi’s longtime collaborator and colleague Giuseppe Levi a retired physics professor from the University of Bologna who has worked closely with Sergio Focardi in the past.

Rossi Reveals Details of New Factory, Team and Hot eCat

Andrea Rossi went into quite a bit of detail about his ecat low energy nuclear reaction device (LENR) and his operations in an intriguing new interview. He described the shipping of his device to a client in America, released some pictures and talked about his team in an interview with Sterling D. Allen of Pure Energy Systems that was conducted for Gary Hendershot’s Smart Scarecrow Website last week.

Rossi Might be working with Swedish Utilities

There are a number of indications that Andrea Rossi is working closely with Swedish utilities. A report published at the E-Cat World blog claims that Elsforsk a research and development organization operated by a group of Swedish utilities has budgeted two million Swedish Krona (around $302,000 US Dollars or 230,000 Euros) to pay for testing of Rossi’s ecat low energy nuclear reaction device over the next three years.

The same report states that Elsforsk has already spent around 200,000 Krona (23,000 Euros or $30,000 US) studying ecat. No results are mentioned and I cannot verify these claims because the PDF of the report posted at E-Cat World is in Swedish a language I cannot read.

Rossi Declines Investment plans April 30 delivery of ecat

The latest version of Andrea Rossi’s ecat low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) device is scheduled to be delivered to an unknown buyer on April 30. Rossi made this statement in his blog on April 12. He didn’t reveal who the buyer again nor did he say whether the customer is a new one or the same mysterious customer he’s been working with since October 2011.

Rossi Claims Third Party Verifies Ecat Claims

The independent third party tests on Andrea Rossi’s ecat Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) device are completed and seem to verify some of Rossi’s claims. Unfortunately Rossi didn’t make the actual report available nor did he reveal identity of the testers. He did claim that the third party report would be published sometime in April but didn’t say where.

In a March 24 post on his blog Rossi stated that the third party tests were completed on March 23. He also stated that 11 professors (who were not identified) participated in the tests. Rossi claimed that one of the professors told him that “the effect is real beyond a reasonable doubt.”

Details of Important Cold Fusion Conference Available

Details of the most important conference on Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) of 2013 are now available. The official website for The 18th Annual International Conference on Cold Fusion (ICCF-18) is now up and running.

The Famous Columns at the University of Missouri at Columbia

The conference will be held at the University of Missouri, in Columbia, Missouri, on July 21-27, which is also sponsoring the event. The university is also the home of the Sidney Kimmel Institute for a Nuclear Renaissance (SKINR). The institute will participate in the conference as well as the university. Tours of the institute’s labs were some LENR research is already taking place will be part the conference’s itinerary.

Rossi Third Party Testing to be Complete in March

Andrea Rossi thinks that the independent testing of his ecat Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) device by an independent third party will be completed in March. He also thinks that the results of the testing by the unknown third party will be published sometime in March or soon after. Rossi didn’t say where the results would be published or in what publication in the response he made on his blog.

Miley Unveils LENR Power Unit Proposal/Hot Ecat delayed

George H. Miley has unveiled a picture of his low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) device the LENR-Gen Module. The module is described as a Hydride Gas-Loaded Nanoparticle Electrode Cell Design for distributed co-generation power. The device is apparently an electric generator in which heat created by LENR will turn a turbine to generate electricity.

From the design posted online it looks like the device will use hot air to turn a turbine. That means could easily be adapted to run a vehicle or an aircraft. The device will apparently generate 10 kilowatts of electricity. Commentary on his mockup notes that that the larger versions of the device could be built.

Piantelli Granted EU Patent for Nickel Hydrogen LENR Process

Francesco Piantelli has been granted a European patent for his nickel hydrogen low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) process. The patent EP 2 368 252 B1 could present major problems for Andrea Rossi’s Leonardo Corporation and Defkalion both of which are trying to patent similar nickel hydrogen LENR processes.

Documents posted online indicate that the patent was granted on January 16, 2013. It is titled “Method for producing energy and apparatus therefore.” A brief description states: “The present invention relates to a process for producing nuclear reactions between a metal and hydrogen that is absorbed in the crystalline structure of the metal. Furthermore, the invention relates to an energy generator that carries out such reactions.”

Defkalion enters New Joint Venture Plans Italian R&D Center

Defkalion Green Technologies which moved its headquarters to Canada last year has entered into a joint venture with an Italian company called Moses Ltd. The joint venture called Defkalion Europe will be based in Milan and sell an new industrial version of Defkalion’s Hyperion low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) device called the R5.
